About Our Towne
covering Southern Rensselaer County and beyond

Thank you for your interest in Our Towne - Southern Rensselaer County’s Community Resource. Our Towne is mailed, free to over 15,000 homes, businesses and Southern Rensselaer County Chamber members and the rest are distributed at over 100 local businesses in Averill Park, Castleton, East Greenbush, North Greenbush, Rensselaer, Schodack , Troy, West Sand Lake & Wynantskill!

Our Towne differs from other types of print media because we provide information and features unique to its area. Similar to our featured local businesses, Our Towne is locally owned and operated, with an office in the Hilton complex in Rensselaer.

Each edition features locally owned businesses, a message from our Chamber of Commerce, Important Numbers, Community Information, Community Calendar, Kids Page and Specials from area businesses. It is the affordable way to advertise!

A recent reader’s survey indicated that Our Towne stays in their home an average of 20 days per month. They also referred back to us 7-10 times during that time frame.
